Hey guys! I'm 13 years old (almost 14) and I am in 8th grade. Next year, (which is not too far away) I will be in high school (freshman). For those of you IN ninth grade or over, does it suck? It scares me because I will be going to a school with 17 and 18 year olds and I'll be only 14 when I go to high school! Is it scary to go to high school? I've heard so many bad things about high school... the boys are the worst... I could probably survive in an all girls school because boys that I klnow are just mean except a few. I'm really scared knowing that I will be in high school! Can anyone give me some comforting advice to help me feel better because everyday, I get scareder knowing that another day is past and I'm that much closer to high school? I'm just scared... can anyone help me... seriously! I don't want sarcasm or rudeness in yall's answers. I'm just looking for a little comfort... Thanks!

haha no not at all! highschool is amazing! when i was in middle school i thought the same thing you did though. I thought i would get picked on and noone would like me..bla bla bla..but its totally not like that! you get SO much more freedom and you meet so many new people and you get the opportunities to do things that either you enjoy, or have never tried before. My best advice would be to GET INVOLVED! there will most likely be a club that you're interested in..at my highschool theres a club for pretty much everything. DO SPORTS! be active...if you get involved...you'll enjoy it a lot more :D

since i dont like sports i will try to get involved with something i like like cheerleading or drama or something i will definitly take ur advice thank you so much!
