well, here's the deal. I really like this guy, like alot! he's so perfect in almost every way. I guess you could kind of say that we're together, but nothings official. I want to be with him so bad, but theres a porblem... my best friend is his little sister. he's a junior, and i'm a freshman and his sister's a sophomore. you'd think that they'd be really close, but they're not, not at all. she's my best friend, so i've told her all about her brother and i. She made it really clear that we should not be together. She doesn't even think that he would ever want to be with me because I'm a freshman. when she first told me all of this i promised that it was just a crush, and that i would never date him, because i knew she was against it. but at that time i never thought any thing would really happen between us. now things are starting to happen and i really want then to happen. i can't help how i feel, and her reasoning for not wanting us to be together seem pretty stupid. but at the same time, she is my best friend and hopefully always will be. I think going out with her brother would hurtour friend ship, but i don't want to give up this opportunity with the perfect guy. i need help!!! what should i do? (link)

i think you should go with your heart. remember that a true friend will be happy for you when you find a great guy. if she knew something about her brother that could hurt you then it'd be different, but if she has no solid reason, i think you should go for it. talk to her about it, and tell her that you don't want it to hurt your friendship. do what makes you happy!
