I was wondering about Planned Parenthood. I know that you can go there and get condoms, birth control, morning-after-pill, etc. but I had a few questions. Can you just go in there and get condoms or do you have to like sit down and talk with a few people there with them asking you questions and saying make sure you're safe and ready, etc? Also, if you go there to get birth control, do they have to give you an exam "down there" or what all do they do? Plus, they don't tell your parents about it.. do they? I heard they were completly confidental. I'm just curious!! I rate high. (link)

When you ask for whatever it is you need from the Planned Parenthood, they may ask you a few questions depedning on who you speak with, however you can simply say you would rather not share this buisiness and that is only a matter if they even start questioning. As for the exam, no they don't automatically unless you ask for one. Then they'd be glad to. Also, you are right about the confidentiality. Where I live, they are not allowed to tell anything to your parents unless you ask for a HIV test and it comes back positive and again this only applies to you if you
A get the test and test positive
or
B are under 18
Other than that test and having a positive result, the rest is totally off limits for mom and dad. Hope this helps. :)
