My cat (4 year old female, spayed) has been diagnosed with multifocal vasculitic septal panniculitis, according to her vet this is an extremely rare decease for cats
What is it?
What does it look like?
What causes it?
What treatment is required?
What are the chances of recovery?
Please help with answers. Her mom (ME!) is extremely worried.
Thanx,

you should definetely talk to your vet or parents about it. google helps, too. I just don't know why your vet didn't tell you about it when the results came in...weird.

The vets are still trying to get more info regarding this issue. All anyone can tell me is that it is extremely rare in cats. I've spent DAYS on the net trying to find more info, but it looks as if it is someting humans get, with one case mentioned anout a German Shepard (dog) and no further info regarding the dog or any other animal.
