sorry it's a little long well one of my close friends asked me out and he's kinda known as a cheater and I'm thinking of telling him yes but I've been hearing all these rumors that he kissed his ex and that he was trying to hook up with some other girl and it just makes me wonder about him.I asked him if it was true and he said no that he puts it on everything he has and he swore to god. my friend asked him too and he told her the same thing I really like him but I think I might get hurt if I say yes I will rate a 5.please help (link)

Rumors are tough things to go by. You can't always believe everything you hear, but if you are hearing it from more than a few people..chances are it might be true. A lot of guys are very well known for being cheaters or players. I don't trust very many guys at all. If he seems like he has been mature in the passed, then he might not be lying about the things he swears are true to you. Just watch and pay close attention to the way he acts around you, and other girls. If he treats you better, or does more for you he probably likes you a lot. If he flirts with other girls, especially when you are around, he probably isn't worth it. If you haven't been his friend for a long time..I would suggest getting to know him as a friend first, then if he seems like a good guy, and treats you the way you want to be treated..think about giving him a chance. Don't rush into anything, and be sure this is what you want. Don't feel pressured into giving him an answer rite away, but don't make him wait forever. If you tell him that you aren't sure, and he just gets a different g/f..forget about it. The rumors are most likely more than true then!
