Q: I live in an apartment with my mom. We want to get a cat and the landlady said we can if it doesn't have any claws. We aren't sure if thats ok to do to a cat. I no one other person who has a cat like this and the cat seems happy. What do you think?

Its perfectly okay to declaw a cat. Most people declaw the front ones, because just in the event that the cat gets out it has to have the back ones to defend itself, and also it cant claw up furniture or walls with its back claws. but yes its perfectly safe.
