Q: alright. this will be long.
me and my boyfriend have known eachother since kindergarden. we went out in sixth grade, and broke up after 4 months of seeing eachother.
i am in love with him, and he knows it, because we have been going out again since the 2nd. last night he told me he loved me as well.
my parents do not approve of him though. i think it is because my mom thinks he lies to me (which he doesnt) and my dad never liked any boy i went out with (because that's just how dads are) my sister doesnt like him, either, and i dont know why she doesnt.
how can i get my family to approve of him?

Talk about your boyfriend around your parents. Tell them how good he is and how honest and great he is. You can make anything up if you wish. Love is everything! Do anything to make your parents approve nad if they don't, why should you care? Love is love and if you two love each other try not to worry about it. If they cant understand how perfect you two are meant to be, then why not just tell your family "mom, dad, sister WE ARE IN LOVE AND IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK NOW BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER UNDERTSNAD HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM!" Try that or first try the accepting him part. Say good things about him. Hope this helps. Goodluck!
