Grammar, Punctuation, etc
I think if Advicenators are going to take the time to answer other peoples' questions and give free and helpful advice, the least people could do is use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc when they are asking for help. It's unbelievable how some people TyPe LiKe ThIs, or never use periods, or don't have the time to do a "seempl nd quik speel chek".
Pet Peeve
I think that's totally lame when someone rates you down just because they don't want to accept the truth. It's also annoying if they rate you down, just because they didn't like your answer. Advicenators isn't about hearing what you want to hear. It's about finding the truth. People should be thankful that someone gave their time and effort. They should be thankful their question was even answered at all.

Let me just remind you what each number means when you rate someone. These are OFFICIAL.
1- Pretty Bad Advice
2- Not Harmful, But Not Useful Either
3- Decent Enough Advice
4- Good Advice
5- Really Awesome Advice
I think everyone should give feedback, not just a rating. And feedback should include WHY you gave that person that specific rating. If everyone did that, everyone would probably rate more accurately. Also, the advice giver took the time to answer the question. The least the question asker could do is to give feedback! But unfortunately I guess it's too hard and mind boggling for everyone to do.

My friend && I like the same guy. He just happens to have feelings for me. I really want to get together with him but wouldn't that be betraying my best friend? What should I do?
Well, you have to ask yourself one question. Who is more important? Your friend, or a crush? Personally, I think you should pick your friend. Because friends are much more valuable than a crush. However, I'll let you decide.
Either way, I think you should definitely talk to your friend.
If you want to go ahead and ask out your crush, first thing's first:
First of all, ask her how she feels if you went out with him. And tell her to tell the TRUTH or else the entire conversation will be pointless.
Tell her you really like him and you know she feels the same, but he's starting to have feelings for you. Ask her if she's comfortable with it. If she's not comfortable with it, I definitely would just let the crush go. If she's comfortable with it (Though she might be lying for you) you could try things out with the guy, but if she shows any signs of sadness you might want to take a break. Whatever you do, don't go out with the guy until you tell your friend.
If you want to let this crush go:
Tell her you think that both of you should just let him go because one crush shouldn't come between the two of you. If she's a good friend, she'll understand and agree with you.
There are plenty of other fish in the sea! Well, who wants to date fish? But you know what I mean :P
