Q: Can someone please give me an intellegent answer to y people cut? It makes no sense to me. The only conclusion i have come to is mental/emotional weakness.

when someone has a lot of problems and issues and pain, they cut themselves so that they can focus on the pain that they just made themselves feel. it's hard to explain but, when you feel a lot of emotional pain, you don't really know where the pain is, and when you dont know where it is, it'll be harder for you to heal yourself. so if you cut yourself, you'll be able to focus on that specific spot that was cut instead of all the other issues you have to deal with. when you cut yourself, it puts your mind off everything else.
