I love observing and talking to people to find out what makes them tick. I love it when I can help people figure out answers to their problems-- no matter how big or small!

I have been renting a home for 10 months now and I've paid an overraged of at least $300 dollars due to water leaks. I'm trying to find out if my landlord should be responsible for the difference in comparison to a normal water bill.I can't find advice without having to pay for it. Single mom with children and can't afford it already as it is. (link)
I would say that it is the responsiblity of the landlord to pay for the leaks. That is if they were pre-exisiting problems. If they developed while you were there, or where caused somehow by you-- than he could make a case that it is your responsiblity to pay it.

Talk to the landlord. You might have to talk to an attorney if things get ugly.

Thank you. I do believe it is the responsibility of the landlord. The leaks were unreachable and not caused by any living in the house. I can't help that his house leaks.
