I think respected is way better. Think about it: as girls, we tend to flirt... alot. It's in our nature. We don't necessarily always like the guy we're flirting with but we still do it. Since he doesn't flirt with you as much as them, that means he respects and cares about YOUR feelings. As for them, he's just doing it because he is a guy.
