How can I get my mom to let me get my ears pierced? She says I have to wait until I'm fsxking 16! I just turned 15 two days ago!!! She says people would say I look like a sissy. Ok. Well, only the shallow asshats would actually say that out loud, and even then I don't care. They can bite me. But she says I have to wait until the age even SHE got them! 1) I am not a woman 2) I am not my mother.
M/15. I'm just /curious/ as to how I would look in them! If I dont like them I could just let it cover up. I seriously don't see her logic in this other than the usual parent crap 'I want you to be just like me and grow up the same way.'

My best freind had that problem once and I told her the same thing I am telling you. What I do when I really want something and there's no way i can convince mom is.. research. yah yah I know it sucks but if you were to get online and do some research and write about the advantages and disadvantages of getting the ears peirced it might change her mind. it will show her that this isnt impulse and that you are really serious about this addition to your body. It also shows responsibility that you are willing to do everything it takes. and even then if she says no dont get mad or throw a fit that makes it worse.. it doesnt make you look to good either. Try to be mature and show your mom that you want to be treated more like an adult and really think this is a good thing
