Tampons hurt so much when i try to put them in. Im pretty sure im putting them in the right angle. Help!!! (link)

if this is your first time using a tampon, it's normal for it to hurt a bit, but you should try the slimfits that playtex makes - they're a lot thinner than regular ones, and easier to go in. as for inserting them, try sitting with your legs open wide, and seperate your lips with your fingers, then push the applicator in up towards your lower back, up until the grip on the applicator. then press the smaller tube up to insert it. sometimes if your tampon is causing you discomfort after it's been in for a while, you haven't pushed it far enough in. and don't worry - the rumor about tampons getting "lost inside of you" is completely untrue, and absolutely impossible.
