My friend told me that if you rub vegetable oil on your skin and then go outside and lay in the sun you'll get a really nice tan. Is this true? Has anyone ever tried it? Does it work?
your friend is right, you'll definitely find evidence of the sun on your skin if you lay out covered in vegetable oil, or baby oil, or any sort of oil. That's why they make tanning oil, but they add sunscreen because with the sun baking you while you're covered in oil, you'll probably get pretty burned. So yes, it will work, but i'd recommend tanning oil with a low spf rather than vegetable oil so that you don't end up looking like a tomato. hope i helped! ♥
(Rating: 5) thanks! If I put a low spf on and then the vegetable will that prevent me from burning, but still give me a tan?
