Hi,
I'm a kind of story-editor online. People write stories, look through an 'editor directiory', a site I'm part of, and choose the editor best suited to their story. If I'm chosen, they email me and I will work on this story. The thing is, this is a very full-time job and I'm editing for around 7 people at a time, constantly. They usually have anything up to 50 chapters, at an average length of 3000 words per chapter. I can't do this much work, especially with exams coming up...plus I spend all my free time on Advicenators now. I want to quit my editing because it's just not fun for me any more and it's too much work, but I dunno....I feel like I'll have failed if I quit. And I also feel like quitting that is a step towards quitting other things, like this website. I'm scared that if I let myself quit one thing, I'll end up eventually getting bored of this place and quitting here too, and I really don't want to do that. What do I do?
Plus, how do I tell the owner of the editor directory that I want to quit? She's become a great friend of mine and I don't want to disappoint her. If anyone can think of any good excuses, or a better way to phrase mine...please give them.

well first, if you dont like the job, than quit. it usually means its not yur true calling and that yur dream job is out there. and chances are that just cause you quit that doesnt mean you all of a sudden gonna wanna quit adivenators. if you like it here u'll stay here, and if you dont like it here lata fo sum reason, you can leave here too, even if you dont want to now. nobody can predict the futa, and opinions of things will change. so dont be afraid to quit. now when it comes to you tellin yur boss. tell her that you dont think that being and editor is yur true calling and that its begining to inturupt yur studies. and since she seems like a good friend, she should undastand. hope it all goes well
