I'm having trouble finding the answer to this problem. Maybe I don't ask it right, see if any of you can help me out.
I am thinking of buying a new camera. I currently have a pentax which I love but it has seen better days.
I'd like to try a digital one but here's the thing no one has yet been able to answer for me.
I do not like the point and shoot, auto focus stuff. I want a set your own f-stop, focus.... manual type camera. I like my pic's to be my own creations know what I mean? Does anyone know if they make something like that in digital cameras?
I think the problem lies in the fact that I don't really know what the official name for the kind of camera I'm wanting is. I'm in process of packing for a move and all my stuff is currently unavailable to me.So, if anyone knows at least that much it would be a help in my search.

Well maybe if you try to go to either Circut City, or Best Buy, and ask one of the employee's there, maybe they can help you. But unless someone that has one of these works at a place like that, nobody can really give you the correct answer. So go online and do a good search, or just go to the store and ask. sorry but that is all i no. good luck with that!
