Friday we took my cat to the vet. He had many wounds on his body and they still weren't healing. In the vet they told us he has a rare blood disease that makes his white blood cells attack his skin cells... and that all of his fur and his skin would fall off and he might bleed and he'd be in pain. They gave us medications for him (pills and a spray for those... wounds) and said that the approximate time the cat would get cured and his fur would regrow would be in two months. When I was 9 or 10 my first cat died. ...His fur was falling off too (not his skin though... at least not that I remember... no, not his skin) bbut it was some illness he got when he was outdoors with stray cats. Well they gave him medications and said he would be cured... until the last weeks of his life where they said that he was going to die and they gave us the option of putting him to sleep.
Well what I wanted to know is if anybody has had a similar health issue with their pets. Or if anybody knows about the illness my cat has and could explain it to me. I didn't understand the vet very well. Or just any tips on how I could take care of my cat (he's indoors now). Thank you for your time. (link)
