I’m 14/f and no one have ever asked me out on a date. I am not ugly in fact I recently learned that the boys from my old school which I left 1 ½ years ago thought I was the prettiest girl in the class. I am extremely shy and I really can’t flirt. Also usually even if I like someone I am very cold to them for a long time, it’s like a protective action. But now I just feel so lonely! (link)

Hey, I know this is probably what everyone else is telling you, but just loosen up a bit. Don't do the whole, "become-super-outgoing-thing" because obviously, it's not you. I'm 15, and I've had 3 boyfriends, but no serious ones. No one has ever asked me out on a date though. All my relationships were like, hey you wanna go out? & i was like sure, and nothing was different from when we were just friends. My 1st b/f was when i was 14, so it's perfectly normal, a bunch of my friends still haven't had a b/f. I mean, i know a 19 yr old who's never had a b/f. Just kinda loosen up a bit, and what's more important, just be yourself! I didn't change to get any of my b/f's, because if they didn't like me the way i was, then why bother with them? I'm typically pretty stand-offish myself, it's something you kinda "grow-out of" . Of course, don't start trusting everybody, my friends told me to do that, and, not knowing any better, i did. Yeah let me tell you about it, staying cautious is a smart thing to do. Some people you just can't trust. :) Hope I helped somehow! :)
