i dont think 13 is to young, i am 13 and though no one has asked me out so i have never dated i am allowed to date. if your parents are together or you have a step dad you should go ask him usually guys are more chill with that kinda stuff sometimes they arent but it is worth asking. and of course it will be akward but if you wanna date why not? also if you and your mom are tight you can try to talk to her. you could tell her you will only go places WITH your friends so like a double date or triple date or whatever. and you wont be with the person alone if that is what she is worried about. do whatever you can but if she wont budge dont flip, just deal with it. there isnt anything you can do. i am guessing you dating age is 16? or 18? either way their ARE other people who's parents wont let them date till then either and if the people who ask you out care they can wait.
