Q: There's a boy that used to be the kind of friend that I would tell my problems to when me and my b/f were going out. But after my b/f and I split, my friend completely fell in love with me. I don't like him that way, just as a friend, but he's trying to control my love life by being over jealous.He says he won't stop until I go out with him. I have a new b/f now, but I can't let anyone know because I don't want my friend to find out and he'll be hurt.He gets mad whenever I'm on the phone with my b/f. What should I tell him? I don't want to lose his friendship, because he is a really good friend.

tell your friend that you see him as a friend and a friend only. tell him you're really sorry and you don't want to lose his friendship. also, maybe you could set him up with a single friend. you should tell him about your new boyfriend because if he finds out later, he'll just be more hurt. i hope i could be of help!
