i am like madly in love with my best friend. we've been friends for about 5 1/2 years. he's the coolest person ever and he is so nice and so cute and just generally amazing. pretty much everyone says he likes me too but i'm sort of afraid to say anything or make the first move. and if something does happen, then im afraid to loose the great relationship that we already have. help?

i've always heard the saying friends make the best of lovers. Maybe you should talk to him about it ask him how he feels and stuff. Talking about it always helps. Just go with your feelings and your heart things always turn out in the end.
