Q: Okie my name is Samantha and I am 16 years old. This coming up summer my best friend and I are going to California to see my ex boyfriend and she said that if we go that she doesnt know if she will come back and then I said if she dont then I wont. There is more to the story but I will just give to the jist of it. My ex bf moved away almost a year ago and we dated, but broke up last october because of the distance but we are much in love with eachother. And his mother always said that if I ever needed somewhere to stay, then I could live with them. What I am saying is it would be much to hard to leave my ex bc we would have everything that we both would want because otherwise we have to wait a few years to be together. If I can I am going to stay in cali and not come back to wisconsin. I told my mom about it and she really didnt say much. Should I change my whole life for someone im in love with and who is in love with me. We both will do anything for eachother, so moving and living there wouldnt be that hard for me because my life here is a wreck and I want to move to cali and find myself. I may be only 16 but I need to find out what I want to do with my life. What should I do. Stay in cali or come back once I go?

You are only 16 once. Try being a kid. If your boyfriend and you are so in love, you will still have those feelings in another couple of years when you are able to make your own decisions as an adult.
