i have had my period for quite some time and never have gone throught this! i have used tampons before but today i had it in for two secionds and ir hurt so bad! i took it out and my uterus skin was all over it! it was so gross, i tried again later, and even more skin came off! my blood has been extremely dark lately and my uterus is coming off in strips and omg whatz wrong with me! Honey your uterus is not coming off in strips. What you see are large parts of the lining that sometimes comes off in large clots. When I bleed heavily it is very painful to use a tampon because it only holds the clots inside. And when you remove the tampon the clots will come with it. Calm down honey its all a part of life. However... if you continue to bleed heavy then the doctor can usually prescibe birth control. Believe it or not it can help ease such things.
