Okay, so there's this guy in my school that most of the girls would give their leg to date (not literally of course) He's one of the best skateboarders around, and was even chosen to go to this contest thing across the US... Anyways, he's so cute and he doesn't even know it. From what I've heard he doesn't like having a gf because it gets in the way of skateboarding. A few weeks ago he(Mark) broke up with the girl I have hated since elementary school (she used to pick on me before I lost a lot of weight and discovered make up. lol) This guy that I know from around my neighborhood is dating my best friend n also friends with Mark. He told me that he thought I was 'hot' and that he liked me. Well, he is also really shy. You'd think that because of all of this attention from girls and skating he wouldn't be, but he is. I was hanging out watching them skateboard and he didnt do anything but look over at me a few times. So, before I left I heard him say "No hug?" which was the first time i heard him say anything really. So i gave him a hug and left... When i passed him in school Mark barely said anything other than a "Fine dont say hi to me, i see how it is" so I did and my friends and I walked on to class. When I've passed by him, I saw his eyes on me the whole time we walked by each other and I know he did it on purpose for me to see. I can't help it, I like him so much even though I don't know much about him. Something about being not like the other guys who make those rude comments as you walk by. He's just... So cute! lol. Well, I don't know what to do anymore. I've been talking to him as much as I can, but I don't want to ask if he wants to hang out because I think that's his job and I really want to get to know him better. I also don't believe he likes me because i tend to put myself down a lot and I don't think that he *could* like me. I'm thinking of the worst, like, its all a joke or not true or something, not that he really does like me. Can someone help me with what I could do? Thanks ((I rate if that helps any... I definitely think that he is starting to crush on you. If he does make those kind of comments and he wants hugs and he stares at you and he wants you to say hey, then he definitely is crushing also. You should maybe ask him to teach you how to skateboard. That would be a good way to get to know him better. It's both of you doing what he loves to do and is very good at and you can ask him to make sure you don't fall so he will hold on to you as you skate and then maybe catch a bite to eat afterwards.
