Okay I have a guy friend 'Alexander' I know Alex from my tap dance, we are in the same class together and I sort of befriended him because he was extremely nice. Well he loves to dance, and he is really gifted but all the other girls in the class are being really really mean to him. He has such a friendly attitude that he goes up everyone and says hi, even the 'In' group which he wants to be a part of so badly. I honestly don't know why he would want to be nice to stuck up know-it-alls but thats just my opinion talking there. They give him threats and say he is gay, plus all his friends at school make fun of him and call him gay also. He was so hurt when told me all this he was near tears, I felt sooo sorry for him. I feel sorry for him because I have been the only person that has been nice to him, and I tend to want to make fun of guys and call guys names.
He told me how hurt he was last week and that he had made himself come to dance that day. I do understand how he feels, My entire life I have been made fun of.
my problem is I like Alex and I know I shouldn't because i'm setting myself up for pain. I want to stay away from him but then I would be hurting Alex because he would think I didn't like him either. I try not to think of him because I know he doesn't like me and I will get hurt like all the other times before, Plus I'm too ugly for any guy. (link)

awe! thats a really cute but sad story well i think that you should deff like him thats wut he needs right now he needs someone to care for him and luv him and make him feel better about him self. and you should help him out with his troubles at school. like if ppl start to make fun of him stand up for him and if they all decide to b all immiture about and b like "ooo you like him!" then be like "yea yea i do! okay hes a nice boy and he is my friend! now is there sumthing wrong with that?" and if they laugh who cares! you did wut was right and alex will deff like you. and if you do start to like him its not gonna cause you n e pain. you both will b very happy in your own ways!
