I'm 15/f. Ok, so my sister recently had her Bat Mitzvah and a ton of family cane up. So this one family, who is related because their mom is my mom's cousin, and their dad is my dad's friend (before they were married), and their kids are my 3rd cousins. Well they have two kids, one whho is my age and didn't come to the Bat Mitzvah, and one who is 13, 8th grade. So this kid came over to our house after the party with a ton of my other friends, and we all had a blast. The problem, what if i like him? I don't want to because many people will find it gross. I know it's not incest because sometimes first cousins don't even count as incest. Also the fact that he is two years younger. Some people find that really wrong. The next time I'm going to see him is at his Bar Mitzvah at the end of November. I don't know what to do. We had a great time together, and my friend wanted us to "hook-up." But I don't think he hates me, i think he thinks I'm kind of cool. When we were surfing vodeo clips he kept saying, "I think you'll like this one" I mean, if feels like he would be perfect if he was my age and not my 3rd cousin. Are these feelings gross or weird? Hmm.. thats kinda tough.. usually i'd say age doesnt really matter unless its like a HUGE age diff. or w/e but yeah the fact that he is your third cousin makes it weird.. i know this probably wont happen but what if you got married! what would ur family think.. just try thinking about those things.. maybe you can ask him if he has any friends that might be good with you.. so yeah i say just be friends * Sarah *

My mom says that his brother (my age) used to like me and wants me to dance with him so I don't think that's a proablem.
