I am doing a play for my school called "guys and Dolls" I really want to try out for the role of Sara (if you know which character is) and she is a lead role. People say I act very good and there a lot of people trying out for the school musical. I am just not that used to not getting a role in a play at all. It happened once and I am making a vow never to not get a role again. And I know thats the way life goes but you know I have a dream and I don't want it to start breaking, especially now, I'm young. Plus my ex-friend is doing the play too and what if I get a role where I have to read dialogue with her? Ya know? Me and my Luck! lol

I am auditioning for a lead-ish part in a play, too, but my school is doing a production of "Our Day Out" by Willy Russell.
About your problems...
- If you want a role, just go for it. Give the auditions all you've got, and show them that they'd suck without you as the part you want.
- If you have to read dialogue with someone you don't like, disregard your personal feelings. Okay, so you don't like them; they don't like you. But don't let that get in the way of your acting! As long as you & the person in question don't do a rehearsal with just the two of you and nobody else, you should be fine.
Good luck!
