Q: As part of my value system, I feel it is necessary for me to save my virginity for whomever might become my wife.
My foresight has not predicted I would be in my early thirties and still not in the position whereby I would be in a deep relationship.
Being without this in my life has detimentally affected my emotional health.
How can I find the best way to cope?

I think it's awesome that you've made this decision. It is so hard to find men who share this belief. I truly believe that the greatest gift that you can give to your spouse is your virginity. I don't know if you are a religious person or not, but I believe that God has put a perfect match for everyone, and you just have to be patient, and trust God to lead your soul mate to you. I know it's difficult and it gets lonely, but you have to keep your eye on the ultimate prize. Just think how special it will be to share yourself completely with your future wife.

A friend of mine once said, "Choosing a wife is like, buying a pack of gum. Do you want a pack that everyone's already had a piece of, or would you prefer a fresh unopened package."

I think the same can be said for a husband.
