i've been told i have an AWESOME stance at the plate when im hitting, but when the ball comes and i go to swing, i rotate my body and slap at the ball, like i dont watch the ball hit the bat i guess bc i turn my self, when i do that, i step out, which is making me a super pull hitter to the left side which sucks bc the teams are gettin used to me and know where my sweet spots are . eerr . but i guess what im tryin to ask is does anyone have like any advice on how to correct it . my cousin tried to help me but hes a guy so hes different then a girl you know lol . idk i just need some advice on how to make my swing more even . i guess im rotating my body, stepping out, and reaching for the ball . ughh . i hate it bc im hittin like little grounders RIGHT to short or 3rd and its horrible bc at the beginig of this season i was hittin triples and doubles all over the out field and now ima pull hitter right to short . ugh . so any advice will be overly apprieciated . When you hit make sure to stay back and don't lunge at the ball... (I use to have that problem)... And be sure to wait for the ball and watch it the whole time... Even when the pitcher has the ball in her glove and even after you make contact... But don't be running and watchin the ball... that's why there is a first base coach there... to tell you what to do... Make sure you aren't on top of the ball... (try to make contact right in the middle of the ball)... that's why the ball is goin down and your hitting grounders... and instead of stepping right before you make contact try stepping before the pitch lets go of the ball so then all you have to do is explode your hips... Oh yeah... I've been palying softball for almost 11 years so i know what i'm talkin bout!...
