I am 18/f...and i have been really confused lately about my ex boyfriend (which is still my best friend). We were best friends for 5 years before we started dating..and we were on and off for about a year and a half. He was my first serious relationship. I am very much in love with him but we had to break up because he moved 2 hours away for college. We both still have feelings for each other and we agreed that when we are located closer together again we will probably get back together. My problem is that he is looking to date other people, and he thinks i should do the same, but i just cant get him out of the picture and i dont want him out of the picture. He is the only person i really want to be with. How am i supposed to handle this? I cant like other people when i am still in love with him, and i know i am just going to be extremely jealous when he starts dating if i dont have any one. Does anyone have suggestions on what i should do to move on or meet new people or whatever! I just need help. (link)

Why don't you just try telling him what you really think? If he really does love you back like he claims to, then he'll understand. Just remember that distance doesn't make a difference. What makes a difference is love. That is what makes a huge impact in life. LOVE.

He knows exactly what i think. We have an incredibly open relationship with each other. Because we are both still young, trying to make a 2 hour distance work to him is pointless. I know he still loves me..but not to a point where he will knock other oportunities aside for me..even though id like it that way.
