i just reciently got an juvenile iguana, named Draco. hes pretty small, and verrrrry skiddish. whenever i put my hand in the cage, he spazzzzes out so badly. my mom and the pet shop ownver said he will sooner or later get over it and trust me. does anyone know how long it will take, and what i can do to help our relationahip grow?

well... i have a baby parakeet and she was the same way. i took her out everyday for 20min. then took her in the bathroom away from distractions. she soon got to learn that i was her friend and now she loves me. Her name is Skylar. it took about 2 wks if you are really dedicatd and take it out EVERY DAY!! if you miss a few days then it will take it longer to get used to you. btw, dont hold ur iguana more than 20 min a day until it gets used to you because it will stress it out completley!! Stress is not good and it will like you less. so only 20 min a day.
