This is kind of ironic, cuz my exbf pulled the same stunt on me last night...even though I'm going out with his best friend. I thought the way he did it was pretty good, so I'll pass it along to you... he asked me if I forgave him would I ever give him a second chance, but he wasn't asking me out. This made me think about it and I told him I'd give him a second chance when my relationship with my current bf is over. It worked for him, so I hope it works for you!
