My guy's away this summer and is supposed to call me every other day or something and it's been like ten days. Today's our 8-month mark. Just opinionwise - should I call him? I called him last time we spoke on the phone.
My mom suggested I make him wait - "let him miss you and call you." She put it this way: "If you don't call him and he doesn't call you, you'll be upset that he didn't call. If you DO call him, you'll still be upset that he didn't call."

well just recently my sisters friend broke up with his girlfriend, or she broke up with him.. he called his girlfriend a few times a week and he couldn`t get through or she wasn`t home and then he had his friend talk to her and she said he was too clingy.. i think if you stay too attatched to your guy he won`t like that you aren`t giving him space but it might be nice to call him since you haven`t talked in a while and it is your 8th month anniversary

I ended up calling him. We have a really strong relationship and have never had space issues. I like attention/affection, and so does he. We're pretty evenly matched as far as feelings go. Plus - if he didn't like it, he'd talk to me. We have a really honest relationship. Thanks anyway.
