Lately my dad has been wanting to spend time with me, and for some reason I just really don't want to. I don't know why, but I feel uncomfortable. Like, he asked me to go to lunch, and I just said "I'll think about it", and then without telling him I went to a friends house, and slept over PAST the next days lunchtime, just to AVOID being asked again. What's my problem? I mean...I still like the guy, but I really want to b left alone. And lately, I've been liking my mom more. Pleeease help me!!! Thanks. (link)

well its just the fact that he's a guy. you might not know that you know it but some part of you doesn't think he'll understand where you're coming from. since your mom is a women she might give you better advice about things you have questions about. you're father might feel that he doesn't spend enough time with you so he wants to let you know that he'll always be there for you when you need him
