The vets are still trying to get more info regarding this issue. All anyone can tell me is that it is extremely rare in cats. I've spent DAYS on the net trying to find more info, but it looks as if it is someting humans get, with one case mentioned anout a German Shepard (dog) and no further info regarding the dog or any other animal.
