my best friends birthday is tomorrow [8/11] and shes having a pool party. im going, but theres going to be a lot of people there [boys too] and im embarrassed of going in the pool since im 14&wear a one piece. im just not comfortable in a 2 piece. I tried asking my friend to not make me go in the pool but she says I have to. Plus on top of that i look absolutley HIDEOUS in a bathing suit. My thighs are just...awful. Im a very shy person and i know ill be embarrassed beyond what i could imagine, since im not exactly skinny. what should I do?

Honestly, nobody really cares or notices how you look in a bathing suit if you are confident and look like you dont care. I've been to a bunch of boy/girl pool parties and if you are insecure the party's not as fun as it could be.
I'd actually wear a two piece, even if you are insecure, because it will show that you are confident of yourself and your body and that you don't care what other people think. Then they won't bother you.

what are the best ways to learn the words to a song? and good tips??

Its basically like memorizing lines for a musical.
Print out the lyrics and read them over and over and over. Make sure to listen to the song over and over. Then try singing with it. If you still don't get it, get a bunch of index cards. Write one line of the song on one side and write the next line on the opposite side. Then try to guess what the next line is.. (kinda hard describing it.. but oh well...).

im going to a new school this yearthis year. i've been in a catholic/private school since i was 3 years old. now i am going into eighth grade and im switching to a public school. i don't know what it will be like. i know a few kids there but i don't know if people will make fun of me since i new or whatever is going on. please help. i am 13 and f.

Switching schools is always hard to do.
Amazingly, I've done it 8 times and am about to do it again this year. Don't sweat it. People won't make fun of you as long as you don't give them anything to make fun of (i.e. don't wear 80's clothes or anything like that). Just be friendly, nice, and especially be yourself because first impressions are key and you don't want anyone to think you are something that you're not.
