Exactly how much is the age gap? I do think that bonds can be formed despite of a person'a age gap {not unless your like 13 and he's like 20 something} then chances are he's after you for more that your brain's. I am 21 and my husband is 25... a 4 year gap... that's acceptale... it all depend's on your age....My advice... Never date a person 5 years older than yourself.... unless your over the age of 18, then of course your "free" to date whom ever you choose.

If *males* would answer this it would be great, but females with knowledge are good too. Please.. How do you know if a boy likes you? Or doesn't like you? I depends...how old are you? if your young, between the ages of maybe 8-13 boy's will so call "pick" on you if they like you. But they should never be rude.... no matter how old you are. If you really like this boy, then ask him out.. The worst thing that could happen is he could say no... then oh' well you'll find another boy somday.. Maybe you could try to be a little more suttule and drop a few "hints" to him that you like him as more than a friend and see where that goes.... Good luck!

It would help if I knew how old you were. But, Are you sure your ready to have sex? Sex is a wonderful thing only if shared between 2 people that really love and care for each other. I assume your in a relationship? If you think that you are ready then just come out and tell your mom, she may find it hard to deal with at first, but eventually will get over it. If you feel like you cant tell her, there are services at local health department's that put you on birth control free of charge.. Without your parent's even knowing. Please do get some form of birth control. because even if you think you are ready to have sex, certainly you are not ready for the responsability's of having a child.
