k so i already did one of these
and i got the guts to tell my mom about it and everything about prom iwht this guy whos a senior
and im a freshman
i honestly dont see the difference becaue i beleive its just a number but my mom doesnt
and shes al like oh i have to talk to your dad about this
and shes like i have a bad feeling about it
but id feel sooooooooo bad saying i cant now when i said yes
so im really down right now caue im scared to see what my dad has to say cause i know hes probably gonna say no but its not fair.
i get where there coming from but its just prom.
not many people get this chance.
so im gonna tell them ill do ANYTHING to go.
im gonna tell them ill get my grades up and ill listen to them more and stuff
but is there any way i can get them to trust me and stuff to let me go.
also my mom said she doesnt know him so she doesnt know
and i told her htat ill have him come over so she can meet him (link)

well, see if he could come over and possibly meet your mom and dad. If your parents see that he seems like a respectable guy and if they think he seems nice, then your chances of going with him will probably be a little more likely. Bring your grades up, and maybe even talking with your mom about what is going to happen that night will even help more. Good luck !
