Okay heres the deal. I met this girl at school, and she is in 11th grade. I'm in 9th. Anyways Shes really nice and we talked and stuff, eventually she decided to call me her 'brother'. And well the other night I went to a concert with her.. and well I realized that I like her.. and i don't know what to do because If i ask her out or something she might think i'm weird because were 'siblings'. also, she will graduate after next year.. If we do get into a relationship will it even work? And i'm afraid that if we to end up going out and something happens between us. I might lose one of my best friends.

Extremely hard to read

There is this guy that I know, and I've been trying to get to know him for a while, but he's unreadable.
He will only talk to me when everyone is around, and even then, he's indirect about it. He'll never actually start up a conversation with -ME-
When I try to talk with him alone, he'll end it promptly.
What can I do to get this guy to open up? I don't know what his deal is, if he likes me, or hates me, or what.

Hey Columnists,
OK, here's the deal. I am 13, and I am in 7th grade. My best friend,(9th grade) has been my best friend sence we were like 2 years old. When I was in about 2nd grade, my friend(4th grade), her brother(5th grade), played "Truth or Dare." What we did was dare each other to get naked, and then he would touch us. Well I have had a HUGE crush on him sence I was in 1st grade. ok well .. i have a best friend lets just say her names (debby) and we have been best friends since last year and i have this ex best friend (lila).. well my parents have never liked lila they said i was really mean when i was aroudn her and my attitude changed around them abd she caused soem problems.. so i had to quit haning around her.. and now lila is hanging out with my best friend debby and i know she is doing it on purpose because she use to hate debby and plus she has liek no friends at all.. well now i cant hang around debby because lila is always around her and i am always left out.. so my ? is do i still hang aroudn them even i hate her so much or do i just leave them all alone until she stops hanging around her..

this might be long but i realy have a problem

my ex-man said that he cant be my friend cuz his girl dont like me but he knew me first, and he had the nerve to cheat on me with her so does it sound like she needs to be the one hatin me. but anyway she called my phone yeling and cussin and tellin me not to call her man when obviously her man didn't have a problem with it, but he cant be friend causeshe dont like me , i really want to be his friend i feel like it'll help me to get over him faster.i still care for him a little so what should i do.

My friend she is always getting mad at me. It gets annoying. I still want to be her friend but I don't want her to get mad at me for no reason. She calls me a brat when I say that WE need to do somethin. When she does that she THINKS I am saying HER but I'm NOT. What should I do?

alright, well, my friend robyn is really nice. shes one of the funniest, coolest, most awesome people that you will ever meet. however, not one of the skinniest. i feel so bad though, because i am quite a bit thinner than she is. she always walks around wearing the same type of stuff as me, with her stomach and part of her back showing alot of the time. there are people who see her and laugh because they see how she dresses, and with a body like that, i'd be way to embarrased to ever leave the house like that. i just feel bad and dont know how to handle having her know that maybe she shouldnt wear things like that with her body, shes just embarrassing herself. but i cant bring myself to say anything to her about it. what should i do?

Last night, my middle school had a dance. I finally got the courage to ask (let's call him "Will") Will, this guy I've really liked since April of last semester, to slow-dance. I told him on AIM two months ago. He doesn't like me back in that way. That's fine. first off, i have a good friend. she at least seems to be. now today she came up to me and we made plans since she was ungrounded since she got an A on something or w/e... but then afterschool she comes up to me she`s like "I AM GOING TO ___`S HOUSE." ___ is well some girl who she tells me she hates, since i dislike the girl. but they always hang so w/e. well i was like ummm ok. because she had promised we had plans. then she decides to ignore me and she just lets her little group push me to the side. i don`t know what to do, because she is my best friend that lives in my state. my BEST friend moved across the country and it is the worst thing imagineable. My friend is going to have this totally awsome party this saturday, and she invited me YAY! Anywho today i asked my mom if I could go and she said that she didn't know her parents so probably no! So she wants me to find out like everything about her family and where they live and she wants to call other people that she knows parents to see if they are a "nice family" she is making this a big deal and it's really stupid. hey I'm nearly fifteen, attend a really preppy all girls highschool in dc, and recently ive noticed i just cant talk to guys. like im not afraid of them or nervous around them, i just cant carry on a convo because like i barely know them and we have nothing in common to talk about. ahhh! and it sucks cuz theres this one guy i like but whenever I'm with him its incredibly awkward because we don't talk! help?
