needy social climber or just lost?

Dear everybody,
me and my friend met a girl (l) a couple of months ago. she had just moved here, we got along great, blah blah blah. Then, this quarter, she stopped wanting to be around us. she ditched us to sit with another, "cooler" group of girls". we wern't that worried, but we missed her so we asked her to sit with us again.("hey laurel! come sit with us" not "why arnt you sitting with us blah blah")So she sat with us for HALF THE PERIOD and then got up, saying "okay i've spent half my lunch with you, now i HAVE to go spend the other half with them. sorry you guys! i luv you!" it was kinda wierd to think that way, and a little second grade....
she doesnt ever si...

I was recently asked to attend a party a friend of mine is hosting. I would love to go hang out with my friend and meet new people. But there are a couple problems with this. I wont know anyone at all and Im not exactly a social butterfuly, my friend lives really far away, the party will be at night and Im not the best driver at night, and Im afraid since no one knows me I will be left out of conversations.
How can I politely say no? I want my friend to keep inviting me to do other things, but not this particular event.
I rate.

My best friend always has an attitude so everytime I want to do something with someone else she gets all mad. We just got back campping with each other and she didn't do nothing but have an attitude with me and she blames me on everthing,but she kept hanging out with this other girl. It was by b-day yesterday and were soposed to do something together, but I didn't want to because she was getting on my nerves so I told her I don't want to do nothing.Then she e-mailed me saying fine I wanted to do something else anyway and didn't even say happy b-day!
What should i do?
Should we still be friends?

ok i have 2 best friends a boy and a girl,and they been my 2 best friends forever and we been like a little group the 3 musketeers and now all of a sudden he asked her out n now im left out there together and im scared that if they break up i have to pick sides i need help really badly

im dating this guy!! we've been off and on for like 6 months now!!! i really like him alot but were so wrong for eachother but yet theres this wiered attraction between us! we fight all the time he makes me so jelouse but we can never truly end it!!! he always ends up wanting me back and i aways say yes!! what can i say to make him really understand that i cant be with him anymore!! i want to but i know hes not good for me!! i need some strong words of wisdom to get me through this!! please help me!!

ok so my friends boyfriend rappe me..and i told on him because everyone on here told me i should and im glad they did cuz now hes in juvey and my friend is mad at me because i got him sent there but she dosent know why and im not sure if i want to tell her..she has a BIG mouth..and she wont answer my phone calls..or IMs..what should i do???

ok so i have alout of friends who are very pretty and mean so much to me but alout of guys thing they are so hot im happy for them and all but it makes me feel sad becasue out of the group im the one they all call ugly the guys you now i mean its bad enough i think im ugly and fat and all these things i just dont feel pretty and i hate the feeling of being the ugly one in the group i have alout of friends and everything even a lout of guy friends but they like to tlak to me about my friends and how to get them hooked up of caorse i dont let my pain show and try to help the guys out but i just feel like crap at skool a guy made a hot girl list and every one of my friends was on it except me it crushed me but i kept it to myself i need help thanxs

okay so i just started a new highschool this year as a freshman, but nobody else knew eachother yet either so we all had to make friends. at the beginning of the year everybody was just friends with everyone but now kids are so cliquey. and the kids i hung out with at the beginning of the year are kinda split up into diffferent groups now.
okay, so the people i was friends with are really clingy and are started to get extremely annoying and thats my pet peeve. and now i have other friends too that i really like, infact i like them a lot better. how do i hang out with them more and and hang out less with my old friends without hurting their feelings? i mean they are nice people but they follow me everywhere and are really annoying and...

So I have this friend, she moved away like a month ago. and we talk online. She can be cool at some times, but then after a while on our conversation, she can act like someone else.
I dont like it, and it bothered me. I said something to her about it, and she started to cuss at me and everything. I told her I don't want to be friends who will treat me like that. And she was like "Fine, whatever"
So I signed off, and just forgot about her. Then she called my house from Long Distance, crying saying how sorry she is, and she wants to be friends. I accepted her apology and we were friends. Then when we chatted online she did everything all over again.
But this time, I told her I don't reall...

i have been bestfriends with this girl since the 8th grade, i am now in 11th, and when she was in 9th grade she went out with this guy.
when they broke up me and the guy started to become better friends. This year i would say we have become way better friends and of course i form a huge crush on him. i would say that it is safe that if i asked him to prom he would say yes. the only problem is the relationship between my bf and her ex. she wants them to be friends but he doesn't. She is one of my closest friends but i don't really wanna pass up this possible great relationship with this guy and if i asked him i rish officially ruining my relationship with my friend. what should i do before it is too late?

Friendship gone bad?

I have this male colleague that I consider as one of my closest friend in the office. Everything changed when our officemates started making some jokes that he was gay. I asked him straight out if he is and he swears to me he's not. Carrying on with our friendship, we went on a drinking spree with some friends. Tipsy, he started to get touchy-feely all over me and in a joking manner he was suggesting that we go home together in his house. Eversince then, he would praise my looks and point blank flirt with me in a casual manner? I wonder now if he's doin this to erase the rumor that he is gay or he's seriously flirting with me? Either way shall I continue to befriend him?

Well, I have a friend who has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend is a really good friend of mine, and she's a close friend of mine as well. I love them both, but I feel like I can't talk to him without her thinking that I like him. I've talked to her about it, and she says she's okay, but I can read her, and I can tell it's NOT okay.
And another thing is that when me and this boy talk online and she's on at the same time, I have the strangest feeling that he sends her our convos. I mean, they're nothing to get mad over, but it has a lot of ... provocative things in it.
Am I just being paranoid, or should I continue to talk to the boy as if nothing is wrong?

ok so last year (i was dumb and i regret it) this guy was EXTREMELY persuasive and i would never do anything like it, but this guy totally made me want to take pictures of myself. not nude but not much on. this year we dont at all talk-i mean at all and he goes to a different school. and i dont want to talk to him. but i always worry hes going to post the pictures of me on teh internet or send them to someone. it really bothers me and no one really knows of my friends/family. it scares me of the possibility of posting the pictures. i know its my fault, but sometimes persuasion works. i want help, but to anyone who reads this-just a reminder from someone, whatever you send to someone or put something somewhere-anyone has access to it. sorry its long.

Well this all happened this week.
In my school we have tables that fit eight
people so all my friends that are close sit there.I've been in Lunch Detentions for the week but today,today i sit down like its nothing chilling wiht my homes and Taunya and Charmaine sit at another table.Confused i asked why there not sitting at our table and they dont answer me so i was like whats going on!!I go back to my table and ask Kayliegh she says because i called taunyas sister a <bad name> shes mad and wont sit here.I get mad because i dont know whats going on and Taunyas mad at me so is Charmaine i try asking them but they wont talk to me.I ask Corina and she says "because your hanging out with Kayliegh"I havent known what...

I've known this girl since kindergarden and we used to be really tight. Now, im 13 and she has horrible personal hygene,spits when she talks, and yet I still think she is a genuinely sweet person. She is sometimes really mean to me and says I'm fat or that im a big and I eat too much. Yet, she is practiccally emaciated and barely eats anything. I'm embarassed to be in public with her. I know that when you are "friends" with someone you should NEVER EVER be embarassed of them, but why do i feel this way? I've talked to her about her hygene but she thinks everything is fine and that her 5 inch long nails are "pretty".
