Fashion statement

I know i have already talked on here about how my step mom picked out clothes for me at church. She won't let me where what i want to and she makes me where her grandmothers clothes. I already told her i didnt like it and she said that was the style and i should get used to it. Everytime i get excited about something, i always remember that i have to wear her grandma's clothes that i dont like and it makes me unhappy. I get really excited about something and then i think of that and it makes me sad. I know they are just clothes but 70% of your clothes is confidence and if you don't have that, you have 30% of something. I heard it on the radio, but anyways, any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks so much!

cartilage and barbells

ok this might be hard tounderstand but here it goes i want to get a cartilage piercing with two holes(one on the top and one close underneath it) where can i find barbells for that kind of piercing or can the ones for the regular barbell piercings work.

I was reading something in the newspaper about a little girl who needed a kidney transplant.She is at the Devos Childrens Hospital in Grand Rapids and they wont do it inless they no they can afford to get the drugs they'll need to keep the new lung from giong bad.They are illegal imagrants and had to come to America to get the transplant so they cant get health care or nothing and her and her mom where making donation boxes so they could try to keep the girl alive.So I decided I was giong to put up donation boxes up for her too, in my school and stores near by just sounds like a really nice thing to do for the holiday's and I also have two other people in my school helping me and I was just wondering if other people around michigan would go...

straight layered hair

ok so my hair is straight like naturally and i jus got it layered, i love it but I CANT DO ANYTHING WITH IT!! i really hate putting my hair up so its been down and straight everyday at school ... && it gets boring, anyways uhmm does anyone have any advice on what to do with my hair????? please oh and if u suggest scrunching then i have to warn you that my hair WILL scrunch but it will NEVER LAST A WHOLE DAY OF SCHOOL, that's what i hate so much about my hair ... but i just wanna know any hair styles i could do with it. Im a highschool freshman and i dont wear makeup currently. i want to start but i was wondering when would be a good time. would it be weird to come into school one day without makeup, and with it the next? im told i dont look that drastically different with makeup but im not sure. thank you!

Is there a way to get the color out?

I colored my hair in August. It had been a golden blonde(In January), which I loved, the first time I got it highlighted. The second time(In May), the lady made all of my hair a white blonde color! It looked plain out scary. So, I went to a beauty school place to try and get them to dye my hair back to my natural brown color(First week of August). Huge mistake. They made my hair almost black and it had green in it! Two days later, I went to a hair cut place called Fantastic Sams and they tried to re-dye it and it turned out a red color with blonde highlights. Because of only waiting two days, it's still damaged and it's December. My hair has already started growing out by three inches finally and I want that part to stay the same. Is there ...

My straightener was stolen at a choir show yesterday, and stupid me forgot to check and see waht brand it was.
It is black on the outside, and has bright blue plates. It was over $100, and I bought it at Carlton Hair International. If anyone has any idea as to what brand it is, please tell me!!
Also, since I am now looking for a new staightener, what kinds do you all use that work well and last? It has to be more expensive than $60. I don't trust anything cheaper.

I love him so much, and I want to get him something from the heart.
Unfortunatly for me, I can't write poetry to save my life. I suck at writing stuff.

Lightening my hair

I dyed my hair a red brown color. It came out darker than I expected. I've tried lemon juice on my hair. It lightened it a little, but I didn't go out in the sun. Could you give me some suggestions of ways to lighten it without dying it again?

for a couple months ive been dying my hair lighter with one of those dying kits you can get at a pharmacy, and now i want to get the color out and go back to my natural color...i dont want to try and dye it back though becuase i have no idea what my natural color is anymore, and i dont want to spend a lot fo money...

Burnt Hair

Okay well i straighten my hair all the time..and its starting to be not so soft and it feels really dead. People say to just stop straightening my hair so much but i cant it is super frizzy and wavy and im super self concience about it and i hate it. Does anyone know products or even ways to straighen my hair so it wont get so burnt?

los angeles hair

i see my cousins pictures & all the girls have this gorgeous hair. it's slightly wavy, but it doesn't look scrunched at all. if i just let my hair air dry w/o scrunching or straightning it (it's natuarlly wavy) it will look gross & ratty. how do all of these girls from los angeles get there hair with this slightly wavy, non scrunched look & pull it off with out looking ratty?
