ok, let's just say i'm a trouble-maker... but only when i'm hanging out w/ friends. i mean, i never lie to my mom or anybody else but when i'm around my friends i do. and when i'm around my friends i swear and do all kinds of stuff. i don't want to stop hanging out w/ them because i've known them FOREVER but how can i start staying out of troulbe when i'm around them? please help. I'm 14/f and I'm a freshman at my high school. The problem is one of my "friends" let's call her Tina. Well, I've known her since the beginning of 8th grade and we were cool back then. I didn't reall know her but I thought she was nice and funny. But as our friendship progress that changed. She was so clingy saying I love you, You're my bestest friend for life! We have to be best friends FOREVER! And she was so freakishly self centered that it wasn't even funny. She cares about NO ONE but herself. I really don't like Joei (it's a girl) right now. We used to be really tite, but then she started bein closer with this other girl. Now she acting all weird to me. She's such a follower, she just follows what the other girl does, if its ignore me then thats what she does. I know shes not a good friend shes just so fake and a follower. What do I do? If I talk to her she'll be like yeah omg ill change and she wont. So help pls

my name is stephanie and people at school call me 'stiffy' and 'stifffanie' I dont like it and have told them to stop it or ill tell the deputy principal but the dont listen and now everyone one calls me that what should I do im to affraid to tell the deputy principal

One of my bestfriends Asked the guy that i liked out. Well i was really upset about it and she told me to stop acting like a child. She knows that i really like him and have for the past month.
He ended up telling her that he wont go out with her. But shes not the type of girl to give up when she likes someone. She will pester him till the end. And i dont want to hear her talking about him constantly. And i really dont want her liking him i know sounds rude but she gets a boyfriend and wont talk to him for like 2 weeks and then decided well i dont like him anymore.
I know its not actually a question i just need some advice on what i should do. 17 f

This my new year, 7th grade, and I want to make new friends and stuff. But sometimes I feel like some of my friends are like settling.. and dont really wanna make more friends. I mean, they are good people, but they just arent like me and my personality. Sometimes some of them are like tired for no reason and it really annoys me, especially cuz i may sleep for like 4 hours and still be energetic in the morning. yah we have our differences, but i'd like to meet somebody who i can just really have a good time with, and know that they seriously are my best friend. i already have some.. but.. idk. i dont really care if they're popular or anything, just not like butt ugly or whatever, and have similar interests as me somewhat,and stuff. or maybe...

Well.. normally Im a pretty outgoing, like laid-back kinda person.. not too laid-back, but I'm comfortable. Like around my family, and close friends. I'm really energetic and stuff, which is like the complete opposite of how I am in school. I live in South Georgia, and if you watch the news today, you'll probably hear about a big car crash that happend on Highway 86 involving Gene Evans from one of the big new stations in Georgia. Two cars ran into a gas tanker, big explosion, two people were killed. My dad was three cars ahead and witnessed it all.
Gene Evan's daughter is on my cheerleading squad. She found out her dad was in this huge crash during the game today, however she didn't know two other people died. He's severly injured and she hasn't heard all the details yet. She's not exactly the popular one on the squad, so I want to make her feel accepted and loved and let her know were here for her.
Does anyone have any ideas on what we could do for her?

Okay, so if a guy asks you to slow dance with them, that doesn't make them your boyfriend or anyhthing...does it? And it's perfectly normal to dance with more than one guys..right? Also if you're going to the homecoming with a guy, are they considered your boyfriend...or if they aren't can you dance with other guys at the homecoming too...?

Patty and I have been friends for many many years. More than most of you have been alive! When we are together we have a great time, or at least I think we are having a great time. It's a fact that we both have always led busy lives. It seems that if I didn't make an effort to nuture the friendship we'd probably talk or see each other very little. At one point I got tired of being the one to invite, and wait for an answer or wait for the phone calls that never came, so I backed off. Over the summer my parents found out I was drinking (early July) and instead of not being able to go out, they banned me from seeing any of my friends that were involved/they didn't trust. I was only aloud to see my best friend (who was at camp at the time) boyfriend and some mutual friends. They lighted up and I was allowed to see them at the end of July. I went on vacation with my friend in late August and during that time they went through my friend's xanga's and found out a lot of stuff. I haven't seen any of them since then. They were my closest friends and it hurt so bad when I was permanently banned form seeing them. Now all I do is come home and get into fights with my parents and end up crying and falling asleep in the mid afternoo...

I feel like I am jealous of my friend, and that she is jealous of me, too. I am not sure if this is the case, or if it is, why we are both jealous of eachother. I don't know why, but we have been competing lately over the stupidest things like who has more friends, more attention from guys, and just attention in general. ksooo. i just started highschool like 2 weeks ago.. yeah and im a freshman..well in my school they let us go out to lunch (although theyre like changing it next year supposedly :[) well anyway. i have the same lunch with my 2 best friends, plus these 3 other girls im friends with. well my one best friend lives like a block away from the school, so my 2 best friends and i have been going there like basically everyday except for like 2 days. well, i love going to her house, since i dont really get to talk to them as much, and its a nice way to catch up and everything, and talk about things we cant with the other 3 girls. but now i feel bad. like one of the girls keeps asking what we're doing for lunch and stuff. and i feel bad like they think...

I'm moving 14 hours away...

My Dad got a job offer 14 hours away from where I live in April & we were planning on moving there in June. I didn't tell my friends because he said I couldn't until he resigns from his current position. Well, he didn't quit then because my Mom was ill & had brain surgery & stuff so we had to stay here. The doctors say she is ok to go soon, though. So my Dad is quitting Sept. 29 if everything goes as planned. That means I can tell people & I'll probably move by Christmas. (after mid november) My question is should I tell them when I find out or will most people just forget about me because I'm leaving? Would they try to do more with me because I'm moving? Should I wait? I really have no idea how they will react... it's my first time moving. thanks a lot!
