okay so my old friends are stupid so im making a new clique or a new group of friends. but what is IT that people like about the LEADER of the clique?
when i talk about the LEADER of the clique i mean like the head person. the person everyone wants to be around. how do you become that person?

My best friends have just started going out. The guy's name is andrew. I dont think i ever liked andrew, but i am insanely jealous of the girl, mary. I might just be afraid that my friendship with them will weaken, but im afraid that it might be more. I'm afraid that I like Andrew.

My two best friends just started going out. Me and the guy used to kind of flirt like crazy, and we would just be pervy around eachother, but we both new we were kidding. I dont think i ever even considered liking him. But we were really close, just like I was with the girl. I never really saw the relationship coming, and I'm so upset! Its hard to talk to the guy now, because i have to be careful about what i say. And Im jealous of the girl. I dont know why, because I dont think i like him. But I hate that theyre going out. I really loved him, just as a friend, but i really did. And now its too confusing.

Our class is getting ready for a spring trip to New York and today we picked the people we are rooming with. This girl I know, we'll call her Lucy, is one of the people I am rooming with. I used to be really close with her, but then we stopped talking. We starting hanging out again just this year. We signed up to room together with another one of my friends. Later, I find out that Lucy said I was annoying and she doesn't want to room with me because I'm "annoying," even though she has been acting like my friend the entire year. I think she's being very immature and two-faced. I want to confront her about this, but I don't want to get carried away and become immature myself. How can I talk to her about this rationally? okay well this is really complicated. i have a friend... hes a good friend of mine. during the summer we liked each other and we hung out all the time, and we were kinda together, if you will. now its the new school year and he acts like he likes me but i dont think he does. but the problem is i still like him, a lot. its ridiculous, like he acts like he likes me all the time & he flirts and he says im his favorite girl and its just so hard to let go. and im so attatched to him, still, its soo bad. i mean i hear he likes another girl and i feel sick to my stomach. i dont know what to do. any advice? xx

I met this nice guy at work. I'm 23 he's 26... but I don't think thats a big deal. I just said hi to him one day and we got to chatting. He hangs around to talk to me for a few minutes here and there after his shift is over and we do talk on the phone. We did go out to the movies one day and ended up kissing. I told him that I liked him and all he said was "I didn't know you liked me " I felt awkward but neither of us brought it up again. I'm not really quite sure what to do

i cant get comfortable with some people! like people make an effort to be my friend, but sometimes i dunno why.. maybe i just dont feel comfortable or something but its a little hard to be myself. im a nice person, who will always give a hand, and im really outgoing once you get to know me, and im comfortable around you. but i'd like to be more like.. lighthearted or whatever, so i can get into relationships faster.. because some people may get bored or something because of me being kinda shyish because im not really used to them being my friend. what do i do????????? i dun like dis.

scared and worried for my friend

My friend has a cut on her face. I asked her how she got it, but she refused to tell me. I asked her a few more times after that but gave up because she said she couldn't say.
What I am scared is that she's cutting herself, or that her parents are abusive. I can't think of anything other than that, that would be so bad you wouldn't want to tell anyone (or be allowed to). I first thought it was her cat that scratched her but I think she would have told me.
OR.. maybe its really nothing bad and she's just looking for attention. But aside from all of that--what should I do? I am really worried about her and wish I knew why and how she got the cut. (Its a scrape, on her face)

he keeps staring at me! like in homeroom sometimes he'll be like "[insert my name here]", or I just notice that someone is staring at me, and then I look and see him. He does it on purpose, and its kinda freaky because I dont even know how to respond! Im like.. "okay.. why do you keep doing that?" and then before I'd laugh or something but he'd still do it which is awkward. maybe hes making fun of me? or trying to be my friend? i dont like him like romantically, but maybe he things I might... but I dont really think he likes like that since hes more popular than I am. Ok I need advice to give to my friend Betty on how NOT to feel this way. It only happens when she works (which is Monday thru Friday). She feels as if she is leading two lives. She says she gets up goes to work (being the first life), comes home (this being the second life), then does the same thing all over again the next day. BUT she ISNT in a rut. She says she has been feeling this way since her dad died 19 years ago. MY QUESTION: What can I do to help her.

Ok so im 12/f and so is my bff. Well she was recently at a Jewish sleepover camp over the weekend (Jan 12-14) and when she got back she called me up and told me some really crazy news. She said that she met this guy there and they started making out and he ended up sleeping in her bed w/ her. Now we are 12 and in 6th grade. Are we best friends or not? We have known each other since I was 2 and she was 3. We see each other almost every week, and have play dates and go on trips together. We get along very well but we randomly fight. Now she is in a higher grade and in a different school. That means we don't get to see eachother very much any more. And that stinks! I know this is random. But I think my best friend had sex with my exboyfriend a couple months ago. I know its horrible to think she would do something like that and guess about something like that happening. but shes had sex with other guys ((*i think shes rather a sl*t)). and she always flirted with him during and after we went out. ever since me and him broke up she was acting wierd around him since then. i can see something between them and its wierd because they hate eachother now. do you think i should say something next time she mentions him or acts around him??? we dont hang out all together so if we all see eachother its akward. :( advice please?
