SHORT VERSION: the best friend likes me, how do i let him off without breaking his heart.
so me and my best guy friend (imma girl duh) have been tight since 8th grade and now were in 10th and last night on the way home from the fair he gave me a note saying he likes me and knows its not gunna happen tho and how it sucks so bad etc...well yeah, hes right its not gunna happen because i dont like him like that...how do i let him off without hurting him and still keeping my buddy around..

13/f~my bff got high at school and she didnt notice~on an inhailent~she was forced abused with drugs till her mom went to rehab by smoking,shots of sumthin,alcohal,INHAILENTS~at school i mean she couldnt walk and was very clumsy and dizzy and like 'out of it'~is it bad i no its just inhailents but is it bad~she says its not but im just not sure~i mean she was kinda messed up~is it bad

It seems like in my new town,[well,i've lived here since i was in 6th grade,now in 8th...13 yrs old.] i dont have any close friends!! No one ever want to hang out with me. i have a lot of school friends,but they never seem to want to hang out. i know im not interesting,how can i be? i don't know how to get close to anyone or let them in! i feel like im uptight,or quiet,but if they really knew me,im not! they always seem to have fun,but not outside school? i dont get it. how can i be closer to them? & dont says things like join a activitie,its almost the end of the year...kinda. no activities. and no "join a new group of friends" - every time i do that,the same thing happens. i feel so left out. they never want to make plans with me. what do i do?

Well, I kind of do, but I don't know if my dad will let me.
What are some excuses to tell my friends (NOT my dad won't let me--I use that too much)

what are some ways to persuade my dad to let me go?

ok me and this girl, Brittany, have been friends since about last year. we were unseparable. i mean like we told each other everything and spent time together whenever we could. now she is always seeming to find something about me she doesn't like. she messages me on myspace about it. then at school she doesn't mention anything unless i don't laugh every time she does one of her stupid sick jokes (sick as in...gross sick. ya.) and today i was in a bad mood so i didn't laugh. and she blew all up in my face.
soo today i read a message from her saying we are done and F*** you. i don't know what i could have done! yes we have been fighting on and off but nothing really major! she even blames herself!!...

ok well theres this new kid in school and he is REALLY CUTE!!! He stares at me in all the classes we have together...
I really want to get to know him and maybe go out with him somtime.
But the thing is he has the same last name as me which makes it kinda weird doesnt iT???

Outgoing-ness

What are some ways I can become more outgoing? I'm SO shy, and get embarressed over EVERYTHING. It's really bad, actually. =( I can't stand it. So is there any way I can be more outgoing and not so shy? Is there any way I can not be so embarressed all the time? Here's an example. My ex wanted to go on a roller coaster, but I told him no because I was embarressed. I didn't tell him I was embarressed but yea. I mean, I like roller coaters! I don't know what's wrong with me. =( PLEASE HELP!

Well, so there's this guy and we are best friends, i think. it's really confusing we've been best freinds for a year now and he has these mood swings like a woman. So anyways i just went up north for 5 days and he tells me when i get back that he dosnt miss me. but now my other best friend says that while i was gone he said this really mean stuff about me. It seems that lately my friends have been letting me down. They always say I am being walked over by people when in fact it usually ends up being them doing it. I have been dating my boyfriend for several months now and I love him alot, and he makes me so happy. That in mind, my friends don't like me dating him and always criticize me for it and make me feel like crap because he is relatively older than me. Aren't friends supposed to be happy for you? Well mine aren't. I know they see it as lookign out for me, but I don't and neither does he. This is where my problem is. He tells me to not stay friends with people who treat me like this and almost gets mad at me for putting up with it. I'm just so confused lately, what should I do?

my friend was talking to the guy i like and she brought me up. she ended up asking him if he liked me and he said only as a friend. she texted me later and told me and now i feel sick. we have block scheduling and i see him first thing tomorrow. i dont know what to do. im not mad at her for asking him and im not mad at him for not liking me, im mad at myself for thinking that he would ever like me. he doesnt necessarily know i like him but it isnt that hard to put 2 and 2 together. what do i do? i dont want to ignore him but im afraid if we keep talking ill end up liking him still and what if he stops talking to me in our class? that would suck, i dont want him to feel awkward! thanks!

I'm a junior in high school, and lately I've felt as if all my friends are disappearing before me. I always had a really small, tight group of friends that I loved, but then at the end of my freshman year, my two best friends in the world moved, and at the end of sophomore year, two more moved. So I was pretty much lost at the beginning of the year, because even though I had friends, they weren't really very close. OK, so last week my "friend" Lindsay sort of got a little mad at me & my "friend" Kristen because we were hanging out with a girl named Lynnette. So Lindsay starts hanging out with Molly & Kayla because she wanted us to be jealous, but I'm not. Lynnette is a way better friend than either of them right now. Ok so about a month ago my friends mom called me asking if i had made her duaghter a myspace. Ok, me and my class are going on a big trip soon. We get to room with people that we want and there is four to a room. My best friend has another friend that never pays any attention to me. That is who we are rooming with. Me, my best friend, her other friend, and another one of our friends. Ok..So this girl who went to my school last year, I met through one of my best friends. At first, she thought I was one of those weird guys, that was really immature and what not....But then she started to like me a little more and we became friends. Near the end of the school year last year, we were talking on AIM, and she had to go and she said "luv ya babe!" and I was like ok, since when does she "luv" me..? And then about two months ago, she started calling me "her little punk" and then just recently she started calling me "my love" and saying she "loves me" instead of "luv ya"....

Okay i am 15/f and tottaly Jealous of my bestfriend. I HATE IT SOO MCUH. Shes not perfectly skinny but, shes close. She has a bigg booty and big boobs! All our life boys liked her more. She is beautiful. I want her to be jealous of me I really do. And when I wanna tell her I feel like shes thinking something like shes better then me because, I say that or i might make her blush i do not know but, I wanna be the one to have someone jealous, What do I do.
