I would really like to become a model. What are some good places to help jumpstart that career? Are there any good and safe modeling agencies or places to submit your photo?

Humidity & hair!

I live down south, its so hard to keep my hair straight! The ends always curl up after two hours, I use a CHI, anti-humidity cream, and hairspray but nothing works! Does anyone know how I can keep it straight longer? Thanks!

school skirt problems!

hey i have a school skirt thats way too long and my mom won't hem it anymore, so i have to roll it to make it shorter. but the problem is it's also too big, and i cant get a new one (i have really good reasons for that so dont suggest getting a new one=p)
so anyway, when i roll it theres a dent in my shirt so you can see that i roll it so how do i make it less noticeable or make it look shorter? and also how do i get my skirt to stay up? it keeps sliding down cause its so big!
any tips or advice? please answer soon i have school tomorrow!! all answers appreciated

Stores for me

So I'm short [16/f], so i still have to shop in the girls section for jeans. Which sucks sometimez cuz they got them ugly butterflies and crap on it. So this year I think I'm gonna get one or two pairs of jeans from abercrombie kids, because i hear they fit good. The only problem for me is that they are way too expensive and I can't afford to get a lot of pairs of jeans there. So basically, my question is if anyone knows of a store I can go or visit the site that has girl jeans like abercrombie kids but a little cheaper. Like between $15-$25?

Hair suggestions for school

Okay i am trying to come up with cute hairstyles for school, but i cant think of any. my hair is 2 inches below my shoulders. please help, and if you could could you give me a picture, and tell me how to do the style, and i dont have alot of time in the morning .

dress for a quincenera

my boyfriend is mexican and his little sister is having her quince or quincenera party on september 16. i have to go and my boyfriend said i need to wear a dress, like a party dress. what kind of dress could i buy? a black one? or what? i have no idea what kind of dress to wear!

ok. im starting highschool. and i'm not sure what to wear for the first day /week. i dont think we can wear tank tops, so yeah.
these are things i have in my closet..
-skinny jeans [dark ones and light ones]
-polos. [navy blue ones and maroon ones. i dont wear polos much..]
-skirts.
-regular jeans.
-black and white polka dot baby doll top. [thats really cute.]
-white shorts
-plaid shorts
-regular tshirts that just say like abercrombie or has a gumball machine on it. and stuff.
-this other cute hollister shirt, it has like a bow and stuff. its cute.
i have alottt of other clothes too. like stuff that all matches that stuff. i'm p...

ok, i found this one site, with really cute clothes. but when i look and see how much it is, it says £16.00 whys that E or whatever there? does that mean its not american money? how much is it? is it just 16 dollars? or more or less?

Hair straigtening won't stay straight!!!

My hair is layered and it's kinda longish. I straighten it before school in the morning (it's naturally wavy) and by the time i get to school its all wavy again and it goes thick and like straw. It's disgusting I hate it. Please, please, can someone help me. I need it to stay straight. I can't stand it, it's disgusting!

Make-up Advice - Eyebrows (&extras, but mostly eyebrows)

Last year, I thinned out my eyebrows and covered them in liquid latex for an effect. Removing the liquid latex took off a lot of my right eyebrow which I filled in (convincingly) for a few months while it regrew. I've just gotten back to my natural eyebrows (which are shaped just fine) but I need to remove them again. I'm not interested in using liquid latex again because it removed hair. I've heard good things about derma wax (which is what morticians use) and elmer's glue (which I'm told is used by a lot of drag queens). I've tried soaping (which is where you fill in your brows with soap and then foundation them into the rest of your skin) but it's too heavy for my purposes. does anyone have any advice?

I need hair help!

I am trying to figure out some cool things to do with my hair before school starts that are really easy and quick since I'm not very talented with hair and DO NOT have very much time to do my hair! I need some ideas about what to do with a low pony. Like how you twist it up and make those cool things. My friend showed me but i forget! And if you have any other suggestions I am definitely open! Some cool hairstyles that take a little longer but are pretty easy I want to know too because sometimes I have more time than others! :D Thanx!!!

Hair Styles!

Well I'm really pumped for school, but I dyed my hair (red highlights which look orangish). All I really can think about is like pony tails, crown styles, and like 2 pigtails but without braid. not sure what its called. =P Can anyone show any styles for like pony tails, or even other ones.
Something that really sucks is that I can't use irons, my parents say they can harm my hair... So my hair is straight kinda. at the bottom, it sometimes curves up, or in. I have medium length hair. Can anyone provide a picture of a hairstyle and instructions to them? Thanks a BUNCH! =]

ok,so i was on www.barenecessities.com and i saw a bra that would b perfect for the dress im wearing to a wedding.it wasnt strapless,but it was a REALLY deep plunge.like i think it was called a U-Plunge?
but i really need to find one like it quickly.
its not strapless,but if u could find a strapless one that would be amazing.

homecoming dress- starting the search early

Even though school hasn't started yet and homecoming is ages away, I feel like I won't be able to find a dress if I don't start looking early. I'm usually disappointed by what department stores have to offer and appalled by the immense amount (or apparent absence) of spandex and glitter in dresses from smaller stores. Does anyone know where I can find a nice form-fitting dress that isn't too short or low-cut?
P.S. low-mid price range please :)
