General Sex Questions
aboutHello, how are you? I hope you're fine but if you're not then just ask and I'll see what I can do.
I'm a 17 yr-old girl.I live in Wales,Britain so I'd be good for an outsider's view.I'm studying for my A-levels in History,English Lit,Media Studies and Welsh.I play the cello and I'm in a whole bunch of orchestras, and a choir or two. I'm an OXFAM volunteer and I'm looking for paid work to fund university this Autumn.
The picture on this column is obviously not a picture of me, it is my avatar from Spacefem.com.
I'm bisexual and I have a boyfriend, so questions about coming out or dating are fine by me. I live with both parents and my younger brother and sister so i know quite a lot about family dynamics.
I'm very open-minded and I'll try to answer as best I can. Basically you can ask me qestions on pretty much anything.
I hope you're all doing OK.
I am thinking of going to france, but I don't know french. I've heard french people are really mean about stuff like that. If my french isn't that good, will they be really mean to me?
Are you from America? If so some people might be a little disparaging but most French people are great. Don't let your, lets say slippery, grip on the language put you off.
Just don't make the classic mistake of talking English but louder.
I own all this awesome modern purple furniture, but my realitor just showed me a house decorated in traditional hunter green. Think I'll be able to make it work, or should I not even think about it? I can't afford to have carpets and wallpaper replaced, but I really like this house.
You obviously like the furniture and you obviously like the house so I think you should go for it. You could try using throws, rugs and wall hangings to negate the clashing colours. would it be possible to do a little painting of something.
What sort of purple is your furniture and is the whole house the same green all over?
If you're too shy to ask someone out in person is it creepy to write them a note?
How well do you know them? Is it speaking to them that you're embarrassed about or asking them out. if you're too shy to talk to them then there wouldn't be much point in dating would there?
I have to do an egg drop for school using only rubber bands, straws, two 20oz soda bottles, two empty toilet paper rolls, glue, masking tape, twist ties, copy paper, and a manilla folder. We aren't allowed to use parachutes, it's only allowed to be 40cm x 40cm x 40cm, and it can't weigh more than 100 g (without the egg). My knowledge base on physics is very limited and I've been looking up websites on egg drops but none of them are very helpful. Any suggestions?
Use lots of suspension and padding to soak up the impact.Try for a crumple effect on one end(hold the egg at the other) and weight it so that it falls that way first.
If you babysit four little kids by yourself for three hours, around how much should you be getting paid?
Not sure how to answer in dollars but I can try to answer in pounds:
Depending on the ages around 5/6 pounds an hour unless you are in a rich area.Sometimes i get paid less, sometimes more. It depends on the ages of the kids, the number of kids, the behaviour of the kids, the time of day, whether you do any chores klike cooking or washing up.
It's really quite flexible.
I'm 22, almost finished with college, and currently living with my parents. I desparately want to move out of my house, and I would like to live with my boyfriend, but I am vacillating between both sides. I don't know if I should just go ahead and get a place with him, or stay at home until I graduate (with all my bills and tuition paid, therefore no financial stress on me).
It seems that while you are living with your parents you have the best of most worlds. You have no money problems, you don't have to organise laundry or food shopping, you get to see your boyfriend-you've got it made!
Why do you say that you 'desperately want to move out of (your) house'? Is it because of lack of freedom, being away from your boyfriend, what?
Where does your boyfriend live? If he lives somewhere where it is conceivable that you could stay with him for a while as a trial run then it would probably be a good idea to do so. That way you'd get a chance to experience being with him 24/7 and to experience financial independance.
I'm very confused. I have major crushes with 3 guys. One I've known since second grade. two of the mentioned males are in eighth grade, the other in sixth. I'm in seventh. What do I do?
I'm not entirely sure how old you are but it does sound like you should just sit back and relax.Just be friends with all of them and if something happens then it happens. Most chrushes+/ relationships at your age are quite fleeting.
Just enjoy being single!
