Hello, how are you? I hope you're fine but if you're not then just ask and I'll see what I can do.
I'm a 17 yr-old girl.I live in Wales,Britain so I'd be good for an outsider's view.I'm studying for my A-levels in History,English Lit,Media Studies and Welsh.I play the cello and I'm in a whole bunch of orchestras, and a choir or two. I'm an OXFAM volunteer and I'm looking for paid work to fund university this Autumn.

The picture on this column is obviously not a picture of me, it is my avatar from Spacefem.com.

I'm bisexual and I have a boyfriend, so questions about coming out or dating are fine by me. I live with both parents and my younger brother and sister so i know quite a lot about family dynamics.

I'm very open-minded and I'll try to answer as best I can. Basically you can ask me qestions on pretty much anything.

I hope you're all doing OK.

All of my freinds have guys that like them and their all going out and everything. As far as I know nobody likes me. How can I find out if anyone does? Or how can I get somone to like me. Its verry annoying when all of my freinds are always going out and I'm always at home.

I know how you feel. It is not a particularly pleasant feeling but don't let it stress you and you should be fine.

i need to think of some good cheap ways to stay warm on a camping trip this weekend. it's gonna be really freaking cold, and I don't want to buy and expensive -80 degree sleeping bag because i don't go camping all that often, but i'm afraid i'm going to freeze to death. what should i bring to keep me really warm? i know about wool but are there other really good fabrics to be sure to wear?

Wear lots of thin layers rather than a few bulky lairs. Silk is also good for keeping you warm. try not to get wet. It's better to be to hot than to cold- don't take layers off without being sure that it won't matter.

no one visits my website. i submitted it to the search engines and everything, and I think it's pretty good content-wise. any ideas on how I can get more visitors?

Put up links to it everywhere you can.

I really like this guy. He has a great sense of humor and makes me laugh all the time and he is one of those "nice guys". He could go out with any girl and I just don't see how I would be good enough for him, but he flirts with me all the time. I know that that doesn't have to mean anyhing but I'm comfused. How do you tell if he is interested?

Flirt back.

And don't put yourself down.

I work in a cinema and part of my job is to make sure that people don't talk or mess around because it disturbs the other customers.

It would help me a lot if you guys would say how you think I should react in the following circumstances.

1) Group of people talking, throwing popcorn.

2) Two people making out.

3)People walking up and down the aisles a lot.

4) Little kids sitting in the aisle because they're too short too see over peoples heads(against fire regulations)

5)People with their phones on(messes up the sound)

6)Teenage boys wanking in the back row(has happened to me before)

7)People waiting outside banging on the doors to come in whilst a films on.

8)People making obscene gestures/giving me verbal abuse.

9)Having a queue, knowing we are going to run out of seats.

10) Babies crying.

Could continue but I think I've given you the general idea-my job is hard work!

I think that which each of these things you should politley approach these people and ask them to please stop distrubing the movie.-That's what I usually do but some people get offended.

Except for maybe teenage boys in the back row...if it were me I'd go over and clear my throat really loud.- i shone a torch on them and they had the cheek to complain to the manager!

What's a good way to meet new people?

Join a club, take up a new hobbie- cliched but true.

i normally get my period every 21 days like clock work. I was supposed to have it 4 days ago and haven't gotten it yet. I'm really worried that something is going on. To be possibly pregnant right know would not be good. My parents would not take it well at all. Me either actually. I don't feel any different, except no period. Tell me what you think?

I'm assuming that it is possible that you be pregnant right now. you nshould probably just take the test- they're not that expensive and you'd know either way for definite. Good luck!

Ok, I play guitar..I have a guitar (always comes in handy), an amp and an fx pad. Answer this! What should I ask for when Christmas comes round?

Sheet music- it is freakishly expensive.

I have a savings account that pays like 2% interest and a car loan that's costing me 6% interest. Obviously I'm not coming out ahead. I'm at the point now where I could basically empty my savings account into my car loan and be even all around, but I'm afraid to live life without that "safety cushion" of money in savings. How much should I have in savings in case something awful happens, like I lose my job? Is there a rule of thumb or is it just whatever I'm comfortable with?

Talk to your bank manager or an independant advisor. They'll be able to advise you confidentially and with a knowledge of your finances with the benefit of experience.

What's the big deal about organic foods? Are they really better for you, or do people just feel better about buying them? And what on earth makes a food like rice organic? The rice was talked to nicely and allowed to roam freely throughout its life? help me out, I don't get it.

Organic foods are those grown without pesticides or herbicides. It's different from free range etc.

It's better for the environment and, not proven but likely to be, better for you as you are not ingesting poisonous chemicals when you eat organic.

I'm making "Day of the Dead Bread" for Spanish class, and it's due tomorrow. I was just wondering, is it ok to let the bread rise for more than the allotted time (it says about 1 -1/2 hours)? My mom and my aunt think it's ok if you go a little over, as long as you don't go under the rising time. Just wanting to know, as it's handy information.

It's fine as long as you don't let it spill over the sides of the tin in the oven a create a horrible gooey mess which then bakes solid...

Lately I've become very emotional about stupid stuff (crying, screaming, etc) my mom has been calling me a bitch and my dad just doesn't like to be around me, which I can understand - I don't want to be around myself either. I dislike being around my parents - they ask stupid stuff, and just won't leave me alone. My doctor also thinks I have depression. What can I do to make myself a better person to be around? lately I've just been biting people's heads off - and I honestly don't mean to. HELP!!!!

Um -how old are you? Because it is probably just hormones. It might help if you get yourself a punch bag +/ play your faveourite music really loud and dance madly to it.I went through something a bit like this- I started getting a whole load of exercise in the 'fresh air' and I did start to feel better.Journals also help.

If there is something specific pissing you off then go somewhere private and yell 'F*ck' over and over really fast until you laugh at yourself for sounding like a demented chicken. It works!

Oh-do NOT succumb to the temptation to stay in bed all day.

For my Welsh a-level I have to write at least 2000 words in Welsh using a variety of different styles of writing.

Any suggestions for what I could do/ how I could get the information.

Ga ti helpu fi?

Oops! - I double posted.

How do I keep my hair from getting staticy in the winter?

Use a hedgehog to brush it.

I don't know how to clean. Or budget but that's not the point. my room has gotten really dirty and I want to clean it so I can use it to practice for auditions, do homework, etc and not have to throw all my junk off my bed every night.
Does anyone have some cleaning tips, or something? Or can tell me how to clean?

I'm probably not the best person to ask but I do know that you should get rid of everything you don't need. And set aside a lot of time to tidy in.have some music playing.

DO NOT start to rearrange you furniture/watch TV/ take over the world halfway through.

It'll look worse before it starts to look better.

Should I dust my room when I can see cobwebs all over...well..everything?

I want to dye my hair blue... no... I MUST dye my hair blue! bright blue! the problem is that I have dark hair and I've never dyed it before and I think I have to bleach it blonde first then dye it blue for the color to show up. Is that going to ruin my hair and make it all crackly and nasty?

Are you planning to DIY it or get it done professionally because the hairdresser would be the best person to talk to.

p.s. w00t for blue hair

why do people get big fancy liquid cooling systems for their PCs? Is it really because they're overclocking like mad and must have state-of-the-art cooling at all costs, or do they just want it to look cool with their neon lights and window kits?

too much of a disparity in the money/style ratio
