ok i just got a digital camera and i uploaded some pictures to my computer. I am trying to put some of them on my myspace, but the file size is too big. They say to download a program called "irfanview" to resize the pictures. Im a little doubtful about downloading it because i dont know if it will work and if it will hurt my computer. so my question is, does irfanview work, is it safe, and if not is there another program [BESIDES PAINT] that i can use to resize my images so they will fit on myspace.

How can I track down a person's email? I've exhausted all of the traditional searches, and have no idea where to go next. All responses appreciated, even the sarcastic ones.

Do a websearch for their name and see if it comes up with any forums/ profiles they belong to/ have. You usually have to submit a working e-mail to forums and it may not be hidden.
Also, some IM clients have profiles of people that may have an e-mail address on. Or if you have mutual freinds with them, try and get the info that way.

The principal menu of your phone would be the one that comes up when you press the 'menu' option on your phone.
For example, I have an LG KG225. At the bottom of my screen I have two options 'menu' and 'messages'. I can select the 'menu' option by pressing the button on my keypad that is directly under the 'menu' option. Once I've pressed this, I get a load of icons on my screen that I can scroll bewteen and select. Some phones just have a text menu to do this. Beacuse my phone is operated by T-Mobile, I would chose 'T-Zones' to access the internet.
You should be able to follow a simmilar path to my example. If you are still confused, you should probably go to http://www.starbatteries.com/sasgciowmaus3.html which has a downloadable pdf version of the manual for your phone.
well i'm not to good with computers, but i know a little about them. i have a farely new computer (maybe 2 years old if that) and i just started noticing a problem with it displaying pictures. i have only noticed it on myspace. i have two animations on my myspace page (www.myspace.com/musicxdance if you want to look) they are a picture slideshow, and the little picture that shows the title and artist of the song playing and lets you play and pause the music. both of those animations show up at red X's on my computer, but they show up fine and work on my sister's computer and my family's computer downstairs. so i think it has something to do with the internet on my computer but i don't know how to fix this and it is really starting to bother me

It probably depends on what browser you're using. Since you can't get Flash 8, I wonder if you're using firefox because it does have some issues with flash 8 I think.
Or it could be that someone has fiddled with your settings. You should be able look atthe prefrences in your browser and check that what version of flash you have and if it's activated.

My dance studio is interested in creating a website to host information on it. How can I go about making one? It needs to be absolutely free. And preferably no ads.

Well, there are loads of free servers, however to keep them free most have a ton of adverts, so really it's just a case of searching. However if you want a domain name rather than a subdomain [ie, myname.com rather than myname.freeserver.com] it's going to cost you. 123-reg.com has the chepest I've seen - around 25p for a .com for a year.
As for learning html, xhtml and css, I recomend http://www.w3schools.com/. There are also loads of tutorials out there helping you learn how to make really basic sites, and help you learn about web design.

Okay, I was wondering what the best photo editing shop is, where you can add in cool backgrounds, do touch ups, reduce red-eye, blur or unblur the photos, blemish remover, color changing..things like that I wanted to get one of those and try it out and see how I liked it but I want to know where some good "free trials" or so I could test some things out before I wanted to go buy a disk for that product.
I'd personally go for Jasc Photoshop. However the GIMP [http://www.gimp.org/] is very good and free, though it takes a little getting use to.

You're best off using CSS to make these changes and it's the most standard compatable.

This example would make the text alighn to the right of the page, make it black and really tiny. However, I don't have any experience in how codes on MySpace work.

I have homemade java-script buttons and I have the same ones, in the exact order on all my pages. Is there a way for me to code the HTML where I don't have to write out the whole, complete href reference and imgs tags on every single page? That way if I have to make a change I can do it in an external file and just upload it and POOF! new button or old button deleted. I guess what I am saying is, can you put an external HTML into an existing HTML? I don't want to end up using frames.

I think the only way to do anything like that is by using CSS, but CSS buttons only work in anything that isn't IE. Maybe you should consider asking yourself if you really need the java buttons [I assume they are only java cuz they change when rolled over].
I was wondering if anybody could help me make a site. I want one with a layout and pretty designs and stuff but I'm not sure how to do all that. It would be a quote site. I want to make it at geocities and then move it to cjb.net. Could any patient person show me how to do all this and help me through all the steps? I could show some sites as examples on what I want. Well, the best way to learn HTML in my experiance is to try yourself and not to worry to much when you break the code as it can always be fixed. The easiest way to make layouts is to use tables, though you shouldn't really [you should use css, but since you a begginer I think you might get away with tables]

I think you maybe very confused. You see, you don't 'get' code's for a website, there are a list of tags that you can use to makes a site. I recommend http://www.w3schools.com/. Their site isn't the best, but since they come up with the standards used, it's best to go to them first.

Hey, I have an Easy Designer webpage. I know all of the HTML's and everything, I just can't figure out how to get a fixed background! All of the HTML's that are for fixed backgrounds, you need a URL for the background, but how do i get the URL if its saved into my documents on my computer? I understand that you right click and push prefrences but that doesnt work when I insert it into the HTML code! Please help!
When you upload your website to the server you are using its a good idea to change the URL in the IMG tag, and then you just upload the images as well. For example, I make my webpage with an image whos url is '/home/druidx/image1.png', so then when I upload my webpage and images, I change the url of the image to '/img/image1.png' where / is the root directory of my website and img/ is the directory where I keep all my images.
if you can't host your own images [which is dumb if you can't] then you need to register with one of the many free galleries on the web that alow hotlinking, like photobucket.

Well, you can't edit a style that wasn't made by you, but if you make one then you can use CSS or the font tags to do it :)

Well, since its useing HTML, the the header tags [h1, h2 etc] will work and so should the font tag. you can also use CSS I think.

Well, I'm not entirely sure what you are talking about, but if you want to make yourself an avatar or something then you need to get hold of a graphics programe like Adobe photoshop to makes one, and it depends on what'profile' you mean as to what size it will have to be.
