well today, my birds are biting each other. the male is staying on the cage most of the time. it stands on the cage bars. the female is on the highest perch. plz help, because it looks pretty vicious:( (link)
well, it could be one of two things....it could be that it is mating season and usually the girl will get mad. But it could also be that you need to seperate them. We had 2 parakeets and the female come mating season apparently got mad and killed the male bird. If they continue fighting, just seperate them but put the cages right up against eachother. Then they can either get lonely and be friends or they can stay away from eachother. Also maybe if the female is pregnant and youre not aware of it she could be getting very territorial....and basically making him stay at the other side of the cage.
