advice

I didn't make a garden at home this year but next year I plan to do that because I want some nice, tasty home-grown vegetables for salads and stuff. Anyway, what are easy vegetables to grow at home? I want to go on and make a list so I don't have to worry about it next year. I have enough space to plant whatever vegetables but I don't want to try anything that is complicated or needs a lot of maintenance since I'm just getting into this.

Hello. I work at a Plant Nursery, so I've got some basic knowledge on growing vegetables.

The best thing to start with is tomatoes. They're relatively easy and don't require a lot of maintenance. Most of the time when people come into the place I work at and ask about starting a vegetable garden, we recommend starting with tomatoes.

Another thing you can try is herbs. They require minimum space and even less effort. :)

Good luck and let me know if you need any more help!

I planted a lemon thyme 4 weeks ago in a large flower pot. I watered them a while ago and suddenly hundreds of ants climbed up to my plant and, I think, are eating it!

Please help! How do I get rid of those pests? Ants totally freak me out and I don't want them eating my thyme plant!

Go to your local garden store.

I work at a garden center near my house, and just yesterday I helped somebody find a product for ants in their garden. The exact name of the product escapes me, but it was sometime by Bayer, if that helps.

wat is the difference between a lemon and a lime

Well, physically, a lemon is yellow and a lime is green.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_difference_between_lime_and_lemon

From there:
"Lime means sodium chloride and lemon is a fruit. Lime is a chemical, whereas lemon is a fruit."
